This website

checkacoin.com has no forms or accounts, and coin search runs in your browser. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the pages you open, how you arrived, your browser and device, and your rough location (country and city, from a shortened IP address). It sets cookies to tell visits apart. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, it sets no cookies: those visits are still counted, without anything stored on your device. It is never used for ads: Google signals and ad personalisation are off. Google processes this data on our behalf, including in the United States, and we keep it for 2 months. Blocking cookies for checkacoin.com stops it telling your visits apart; to stop it entirely, use Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or a content blocker. Our host keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security.

The CheckACoin app in Telegram

When you use the app, we store:

From Telegram: your Telegram user id, first name and username, and how you found us (a start link code, if any). Telegram signs this so we know it's you; we never see your phone number.
Exchange keys you connect: read-only only, encrypted the moment they arrive, and unlocked only inside our server to read your balances. Never shown, logged or sent to the AI.
Your portfolio: balances read from your exchanges, and coins you enter yourself, kept as dated snapshots.
Your plan: theses and their versions, exit zones, watch levels, fast-move alerts, your watchlist, the alerts we sent and the decisions you recorded.
AI requests: your questions, the answers, and the exact figures sent with each request. Kept 30 days, then deleted.
Usage: which days you used the app (kept 400 days) and anonymous counts of features used, to keep the service running and see what helps.

Why

To provide the service you ask for: show your holdings, watch your prices, send your alerts and answer your questions. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use it to train AI models.

Who processes it for us

Telegram, which carries the app and its messages.
Anthropic, whose Claude models write the AI answers. They receive only the figures shown under “What the AI saw”: never your name, Telegram account, exchange accounts, keys or exact balances. You can turn this off in Settings, and answers then use market data only.
Your exchanges, which we contact with your read-only key to read your balances and trades.
Hosting providers for our servers and database.

Market data (prices, market caps) comes from exchanges' public data and CoinMarketCap; none of your data is sent to them.

Your choices

Remove an exchange in Settings: its key is deleted.
Turn AI reading off in Settings.
Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete it, using the contact below.
